Computer Repair & Upgrade
E-mail us and describe your problem and we will recommend your best course of repair action. We could even give you an estimate of how much it would cost for us to do the repair or upgrade for you. When your computer breaks down it's usually a component or a collection of components and it's best practice and more cost effective to replace the damaged or suspect component with a new one rather than try to repair it.

How much does it Cost?
Computer Repair and Upgrade *RTB
The cost is simple
£15 per hour + parts
(min charge ½ hour)
Repairs done at the workshop in Kingstanding, Birmingham, B44 0UL

Some Typical Examples for Cost:
- Fit CD drive - ½ hour
- Fit Memory - ½ hour
- Fit Hard Drive - 1½ hours (including transfer old hard drive data if available)
- **Fresh re-install of operating system (Re-Format hard drive) - 2 hours
- PC Health Check, interior case cleaning and Upgradeability report - 1 hour
**Please note that if a re-installation of the operating system is required you are responsible for backing up your own data. We can do this for you but it may cost you much more.
*RTB
In English, it means the customer is responsible for getting the hardware to and from the workshop for repair or upgrade. This is a common expression for the computer industry and should be checked if you have any equipment repaired by anybody, including warranty repairs.
